a great way to kick start a Monday morning is to have chocolates as breakfast(: thanks daddy for going to his office and get me a huge bag filled with chocolates and sweets(:

“Your Ops managers will advise you of a two tier daily payment scheme for all types of work done and the method of tracking them. For example, if you are a GE agent (permanent or temp staff), and can achieve 75 calls/day, you can claim $20 for that day. If you can answer 100 calls, you will get $50. If you have to do OT to achieve these numbers, we will still pay for OT as well. This is over and above what you can earn under the regular SQ incentive scheme. TLs will also earn 10% overriding payment from the daily earnings of his/her team. TLs will be on hand to coach and advise on how you can be effective by keeping conversations and wrap up work short and effective.
All we ask is that you focus on taking the next call/case, reduce your wrap up time and keep transactions short and effective. The load or traffic to CSC will start to drive down the more calls/cases/emails you handle and customers will stop complaining when you respond to them quickly.
Useful tip; If you are already passing work to provisioning team via Speedy, then there is really no need to create another service request. This will be done by the provisioning team.
This scheme will run from 23 Aug to 31 Aug and we will review effectiveness thereafter. This is an incentive that rewards all and no one is left out. So, don’t wait to chase the next call/case or email.”

a great way to buy your employees heart huh! love those incentives(: yes i made it to 83 calls at the end of the day. (aiya, i shouldnt have slacked in the morning, resulting me in mad chiong-ing my call stats after lunch) The best record so far.(: i was thinking of doing an hour OT so i can hit 100 calls, but sadly daddy was on his way to fetch me): Never mind, i shall try to hit 100 calls on wednesday.(: thats like an average of 11.76 calls per hour with an average talk time 5.10mins. The only way to hit that was to do HIVR. muhahaha. Oh dear wish me luck! Nothing is impossible (:

AwfulWeekends

weekends were super duper busy! its one of the worst weekends ever. Having work till 8pm on weekends can never be great): calls were horrible and it had reached its peak of 250plus calls with an average wait of 30minutes. poor customers): worst out of the worst was i received a warning letter for wearing shorts that is not too short on a weekends.ugh.ugh.ugh! why must big boss come to work on a lovely sunny Sunday? why cant she stay at home and spend this awesome weekend with her husband and kids. Also the person who gave me warning letter, i hate you! boohoo. Stop putting up a show in front of the boss please. ewwww, grosss.

Life in StarHub has it’s up and down moment. At times customer will just demand things that is beyond your limit and ask for the weirdest requests or nonsensical questions. I have learnt to take things slowly. One at a time, one PONR (PointOfNoReturn) at a time. Right now we are still struggling with the new system, undergoing phraseB.

B’cos of this system migration, many customers called in to yell at us asking why their lines has yet to be activated. 2weeks have past, some still waiting for the SIM to be remapped. I can seriously understand how frustrated they can get when they aint contactable via their mobile no. But there is seriously nothing we can do on our end. Blame it on the system. For god sake please stop PONR-ing.): Actually i am quite sick of this having to repeat myself many times to the customers, hoping they can understand the situation StarHub is facing. Nevertheless, i am taken aback my the number of understanding customers. (:

27August will be the last day of my work. kinda sad that i am leaving that soon, as i have a really awesome team mates. “One for all, All for One”

so from today onwards i will be chiong-ing OT all the way till next friday. And guess what as usual, Simon will look into my call stats to see if i am eligible for OT. If not he is going to cancel my OT hours. T.T  just received an awful email from him. why can’t he just give exception like today )x

It’s just going to be a hectic week ahead. Lots of cases to be cleared.

so as for now, it is time to get some rest. xoxo

My Plans and My Lovely Family

 

work has been extremely fun! the not so fun part i must admit is having to take a test after every module. so far what i hated much will be the billing module. having to calculate the bill manually can be a pain in the ass. luckily i am not under the billing team, if not i will go bonkers for sure. been thinking lately, if i should convert my working time to full time. by doing so means i have to sacrifice my freedom. looking at the long run, i will be earning lots of moneys. all sacrifices are worth it!

here’s my plan: own a car before the age of 27, and settle down by the age of 27 (hopefully i can find my prince charming/ mr right by then, if not i will continue to be single. i want a blissful marriage with no regrets!) (: also before the age of 30 i want to be a successful career woman. then at the age of 33 have my first child (hopefully it is a baby girl)

daddy, mummy and brother have been awesome and cute lately. they have been busy planning for my 21st birthday party which i have no clue about it till last Thursday. it was such a last minute thing for me to contact all my friends at the middle of the night. it was supposed to be a surprise party for me, but somehow daddy couldn’t find a way to contact all my friends. nevertheless, this will be the best birthday presents ever! I LOVE YOU GUYS <3 Also thank you for standing by my side giving me the strengths, encouragement and best advises at the bleakest point of my life and also motivations that you have given me to be who i am today. sur passing myself with each passing days. and also never give up on me. (=

in a week time i will be 21 years old. yes, finally reaching adulthood. i must say i treasure this family alot. i feel grateful to have you as my daddy, mummy (giving me guidance for the past 21 years) and also grateful to have an awesome brother like you (giving in to me at times and also thanks for those heart to heart talks that we shared. though your advises might be crappy/lame but they helps =P) i promised to  take care of my parents when you are old like the way you look after me when i was young! (=

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY CHAY HWEE (=

HAD A GREAT NIGHT, HANGING OUT WITH MY DEAR POLYMATES. (=

wellwell, here’s what happened before i reached chay hwee’s birthday party.

first: my mom bleached the pants that i planed to wear on her birthday. there were 2 different colours )= got so mad, as i only wore it twice. no choice but to wear skirt.

Second: met up with TK at parkway to shop for her presents. when we decided to leave the place for dinner, i fell while i was trying to cross the road (the first fall), was running as there were too many cars. lesson learnt: never rushed while trying to cross the road with extremely high heels. )=

third: went to fries for more for dinner. on the way there, i almost trip and fall (TK considered that as a fall). the food was awesome and the servings were huge! fries with curry and sour cream onion topping. (=

fourth: after dinner while we were crossing the road, i fell again (third fall of the day according to TK). wth right! keep falling down. what was wrong with me on that day!! argh! and i got bruises on my knee. it looked so awful. when i reached the bus stop, an auntie came and say: xiao mei arh! u fell down arh? aiyo, i think its because of your high heels. must be careful the next time when you wear them! )=

fifth: when i reached home, i realized that there were lots of scratches to my heels. poor heels. time to get a new pairs of heels. muhaha.

it was indeed a unluckily saturday for me! )=

Secondary School Buddies

met up with my lovely secondary classmates. it was pretty fun meeting up with them , as i got to tease joy and QJ. bleah =P

watched A-team. almost fell asleep in the cinema, was super tired. 5stars for the movie.

i felt like a stupid idiot waiting for bus at the inter-change, when i have already missed the last bus. no wonder no one was queuing up. i didn’t know that bus service ends so early.)= luckily met piggo’s sister. she saved my day, b’cos without her, i will be like a foolish girl waiting for the bus that will never come!! we cabbed home together. (=

meeting at 2000hrs. geez!! i have to write minutes (hated much). but promised Jess that i will give her my best! luckily writing minutes keep me awake throughout the whole meeting. and i feel so energetic, maybe due to the ice holick. (:
